about
the project.
We had the honor of working on an award-winning building, featured in various magazines during the 1940s. The challenge of this project was to adapt certain spaces to meet the new required uses while preserving the apartment's historical essence.

luxury with a
touch of color.
We restored the original Slavonian Oak flooring and combined it with a polished Grapia wood cladding in the same tone, spanning the entire apartment from the dining area to the kitchen. The curved junctions of the cladding soften the transition between spaces, merging them and creating a visual connection. The well-designed lighting scheme with perimeter coves accentuates the impressive 3.30-meter-high ceilings.
To enhance functionality and brightness in the kitchen, we expanded the space by demolishing one of the two service bedrooms. Rust-colored niches were strategically placed to match the veining of the Neolith Abu Dhabi White countertops, adding subtle color accents.
Special attention was given to functionality, considering the needs of an older couple. For instance, the height of the dishwasher was set at the level of the countertop.
